We've been running SAFED Van Driver Training for some years now, and over this time we have found that many companies struggle with formulating simple and clear driving policies.
So we were glad to hear that AEA (the company behind SAFED) have been asked by the DfT to formulate some information for companies on Van Best Practice. The businesslink website now has a section on this, with advice on how to assess fuel efficiency and safety, with guidance on how to improve areas which are found to be lacking. Several of the guides are available for free now, with more scheduled to be available soon.
